Omega Angel is done by he appropriately named *ballpointmaster , who exploits the possibilities of the simple device to its maximum. It's like Giger meets Bic. Technique alone is impressive, but this actually captures some of the vibe from the 70s and 80s science-fiction illustration days, when Heavy Metal Magazine was at its peak. this picture is so well done..and she looks very assertive....
Nice Detail. You should be a tattoo artist. It seems that you love Syfy and Fantasy. As well as Sex. Nice job man.
Definatly see aspects of Heavy Metal in this work. Also Giger. Thats a compliment, I love this, its awesome.
awesome work, love it!
Awesome use of technique, it requires a lot of patience and good skills. Well done!
Thanks for featuring my work. I feel the more my work is out there... the better.
Great, really good...
Reminds me of what H.R. Giger might do.
well done dude.
well done dude.
i'm so impressed by what you did to my work.
mad kudos BJ!!!
mad kudos BJ!!!
wow, q chimba de trabajo es muy bueno,
Your definately the Ball point Master. Friggin awsome!!
This is INCREDIBLE.
Amazing work, very Giger, very intense. Love it and aspire to be that good some day.
Thank you. the limits are obvious ( lack of color, inability to erase or cover up..etc) but I love the realistic tones and effects Ive been able to create with it is like no other tool. The originals actually look more like engravings, ( more often than not, people like to reach out and rub their hands over my work just to see if its actually 3 dimensional lol, I get a kick out of that everytime!) I wish you could get the same effect here on the computer screen.
whoa, fucking shweetness!!!
I've done quite a bit of ballpoint and sharpie work in my time, and i know the time it takes...You done good here. It was interesting to me about the silver signing pen that you use...I never thought of that.
Yeah, this was the first peice I had used the signing pen. I have since used it on several other peices and really helps to bring life to each peice. It really compliments the unique color of the ballpoint ink. I checked out your gallery btw...very nice. I see you like to dabble in a little of everything, those genitalia monsters are something else
Very nice ! A piece to be proud of !
woah ballpoint pen...and i thought i was the only one you liked this medium...but i think i'll never master it to this extent
In-fucking-credible. Awesomeness at its very essence. Man I love this.
dude...this is effing kinky beyond ALL levels!
Wow! I didn't even you you could do that kind of stuff with pens. ^^
Wow that's truly amazing i hope i get that good !!! XD
The DD description fits perfectly. I like the character you have created even more than the technique/detail, sure it's amazing but looking at her many times makes me think in how many arms she has or the stuff that she has in her head, well conceived, congrats!
Thanks for replying, and yes you're right, there can be many people with the same skills, working with the same tools, etc., but their way of approaching and expressing their ideas is what make the difference. In my case, I felt that she is a well developed subject that is relates and challenges any vision I can have of fantasy art and I just see beyond to think of how does she move and such. Keep that in your futher work and you will be successful.
I appreciate your notice of the subject rather than the technique. Though my technique has made my work stand out, the subject matter will make or break an artist.
jesus christ, this is good.
